There has been a shooting on a campus in Northern Illinois. CNN reports, “A former student opened fire in a lecture hall Thursday at Northern Illinois University, shooting 21 people before fatally shooting himself. Seven people died, including the gunman.”

Last week we had a student attempt suicide on Stetson campus, causing a campus-wide lock down for three hours. This follows closely to a comfirmed suicide by another Stetson student. He shot and killed himself less than a mile from our home.

Our generation is under attack. Lord Jesus, defend the generation that bears your Name. Protect and lead and guide the generation that you are raising up as a prophetic generation that will declare your glory to the nations of the earth. Jesus, break forth in power and oppose the spirit of death that is coming for the children. Lord, break forth and fight against a spirit of witchcraft. Jesus, defend your glory. This is the most affluent and gifted generation in human history. Release your spirit in power. Awaken the watchmen, Lord. Let a prophetic spirit indwell your people. Raise up intercessors, Lord, that will stand in the gap for the college and university campuses across this land. Jesus, let revival winds blow on our campuses. Let wisdom and revelation go forth and empower your people to oppose the doctrines of this world. Let wisdom be proved by her children. Jesus, raise up a remnant in the Universities in America. Let there be a people that will stand for truth, Oh God. Let your glory be seen on our campuses, God.
